Gainsborough Road, Proposed 20mph Speed Limit Introduction

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

**THE BARNET (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO. ) TRAFFIC ORDER 20*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Section 84 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to address concerns about speeding and improve general road safety in the Gainsborough Road area, the general effect of the Speed Limit Order would be to introduce a maximum speed limit of 20mph on Gainsborough Road N12 between its junctions with Woodside Park Road and Nether Street.

A copy of the proposed Order, associated plan of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing highwayscorrespondence@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 3rd Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order, or comment on the proposals should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number RSE051(SCR681) Gainsborough Road N12 20MPH scheme, to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, or via email to highwayscorrespondence@barnet.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
