What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF SANDWELL

The council has made the (Sandwell Borough, Consolidation of

Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Traffic Regulation Order No.14)

(Amendment No.6) Order 2025 which will have the effect of amending The Borough Council of Sandwell (Sandwell Borough, Consolidation of

Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Traffic Regulation Order No.14) 2019

(“the 2019 Order”) as follows: a) Introduction of ‘No Loading At Any Time’ parking restrictions in part(s) of; Marlborough Road, Talbot Road, Linden Road, Beaks Road & Bearwood Road, Smethwick. b) Introduction of ‘Limited Waiting During Prescribed Hours’ in part(s) of Bearwood Road, Smethwick.

The council has also made the (Sandwell Borough, Consolidation of

Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Traffic Regulation Order No. 14)

(Amendment No. 7) Order 2025 which will have the effect of amending The Borough Council of Sandwell (Sandwell Borough, Consolidation of Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Traffic Regulation Order No.14) 2019 (“the 2019 Order”) as follows: a) To introduce

‘No waiting At Any Time’ parking restrictions in part(s) of New Street, Smethwick. b) To introduce ‘No Loading At Any Time’ parking restrictions in part(s) of New Street, Smethwick.

Full details for both the above orders, which were made on 18/11/2025, may be examined at: Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, West Midlands, B69 3DE during normal office hours or online at: www.sandwell.gov.uk (by following Road, travel and parking – Roads, highways and pavements – Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO) from the homepage). Anyone wishing to question the validity of the orders on the grounds that any aspect of the relevant legislation has not been complied with, can apply to the High Court by 13/01/2026.
