Harrow, Multiple Traffic Notices, Introduction of double yellow line waiting restrictions and a new Permit Parking Area (Zone SP)

LONDON BOROUGH OF HARROW

THE HARROW (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 159) TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 AND THE HARROW (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 52) TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 26th November 2025 the Council of the London Borough of Harrow made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 47 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

1. The general effect of the Orders are to:

   a) introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions at locations within Penylan Place and Summit Close; and

   b) a new Permit Parking Area (PPA) called Zone SP, operating during the times of 8am - 6.30pm, Monday to Saturday on Penylan Place and Summit Close.

1. The Orders will come into operation on 1st December 2025.

A copy of the Order, maps of the relevant areas and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected from the date on which this notice is published at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GZ between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. on Monday to Saturday and 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Sunday, excluding Bank Holidays.    1. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which these Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
