NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which introduced a Temporary Prohibition of Driving at Lowndes Lane, Heaviley, from Junction of Hempshaw Lane to House No. 4. Diversion via Lowndes Lane, Nangreave Road, Dialstone Lane and Hempshaw Lane, and vice versa. Hylton Drive, Cheadle Hulme - full length. No diversion, access to residents only. Bramhall Lane, Davenport, from Garners Lane to The Crescent, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said roads. This Order is necessary to allow planned highways maintenance works to take place. It is estimated that these works will last up to 3 weeks. This Order will come into operation on 28 November 2025 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
