HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 10fed Rhagfyr 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd  bod y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 10fed Rhagfyr 2025, gan weithredu rhwng 09:00 – 18:00.  

2.  Roedd y Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol gan y bydd y briffordd yn cael ei lleihau i un lôn gyda goleuadau traffig dros dro yn cael eu defnyddio i ganiatáu i waith MJ Quinn ddigwydd yn ddiogel yn y lleoliad.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Staunton, Staunton, Sir Fynwy.  

Gostyngiad yn y terfyn cyflymder o 60mya i 40mya.
Gostyngiad yn y terfyn cyflymder yn dechrau ~1.35km i'r dwyrain o'i gyffordd â Heol Wyesham ~1.10km.

4. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Staunton, Staunton, Sir Fynwy 2025.  

5. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(STAUNTON ROAD, STAUNTON, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order came into operation on the 10th December 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 10th December 2025, operating between 09:00 – 18:00  

2. The order was necessary as the highway will be reduced to a single lane with the use controlled temporary traffic signals to allow for MJ Quinn works to take place safely at the location.  

3. The effect of the order was to temporarily reduce the speed limit on a section of Staunton Road, Staunton, Monmouthshire.  
A reduction of the speed limit from 60mph to 40mph.
Speed limit reduction starting ~1.35km east from its junction with Wyesham Road ~1.10km.  

4. This order may be cited as the Staunton Road, Staunton, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

5. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
