What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT: 1984 SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1065 HUNTS HILL, GLEMSFORD
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1065 Hunts Hill, Glemsford from Graysop Common for 95 metres southbound to facilitate a new gas connection.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1066, the A1092 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 8am on 07/12/2025 - 6am on 08/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8511 FROGS HALL ROAD, LAVENHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8511 Frogs Hall Road, Lavenham from 30 metres north of the junction with Preston Road for 100 metres northbound to facilitate a bridge inspection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Frogs Hall Road, the A1141, Preston Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 09/12/2025 from 8am - 6pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1063 CHILTON STREET, CLARE
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for a temporary 30 mph speed restriction on the B1063 Chilton Street, Clare from Hamlets for 220 metres southbound to facilitate flooding works and for safety during the installation of two-way lights. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
It is intended that the measure will operate from 08/12/2025 - 09/01/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C457 CHURCH ROAD, BARHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C457 Church Road, Barham from Old Rectory Close to Thornhill Road to facilitate the installation telecommunications ducts. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
- For light vehicles:
- Sandy Lane, Barham, Sandy Hill, Sandy Lane
- Coddenham, the B1078, Main Road, Bells Cross Road, Norwich Road and vice versa.
- Diversion 2 for HGVs:
- Church Lane, Norwich Road, Sandy Lane Barham, Sandy Hill, Sandy Lane
- Coddenham, the B1078, Main Road, Bells Cross Road, Norwich Road, Church Lane and no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/12/2025 - 10/12/2025 from 7pm - 6am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/12/2025 - 12/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

- Anti-clockwise: Great Eastern Road, the A131, the B1115 and vice versa.
