RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn bydd yn gwahardd dros dro pob cerbyd, ac eithrio cerbydau argyfwng, rhag teithio mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd British Terrace, Caergybi.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn galluogi gwaith Dŵr Cymru - gosod cysylltiad newydd.

Y ffordd arall fydd o ben deheuol y cau. Teithiwch i gyfeiriad gorllewinol ar hyd Stryd Vulcan a throwch i’r dde i Stryd Seiriol. Teithiwch i gyfeiriad gogleddol ar hyd Stryd Seiriol i’r gyffordd â Lôn Ynys Lawd a throwch i’r dde. Teithiwch i gyfeiriad dwyreiniol ar hyd Heol Ynys Lawd i’r gyffordd â British Terrace a phen arall y cau. I’r gwrthwyneb i draffig sy’n teithio o’r cyfeiriad arall.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 6ed Ionawr 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn fwy na 6 wythnos neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau ar 10fed January 2026.

NOTICE OF INTENTION
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991
CYNGOR SIR YNYS MÔN / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (BRITISH TERRACE, HOLYHEAD) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, from travelling in either direction along British Terrace, Holyhead.

The Order is necessary to enable Dŵr Cymru works - install new service connection.

The alternative route will be from the southern end of the closure.

Travel in a westerly direction along Vulcan Street and turn right onto Seiriol Street. Travel in a northerly direction along Seiriol Street to the junction with South Stack Road and turn right. Travel in an easterly direction along South Stack Road to the junction with British Terrace and the opposite end of the closure. Vice versa for traffic travelling from the opposite direction.

The Order comes into effect on 6th January 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 weeks or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 10th January 2026.
