PROVISION OF SPEED HUMPS – ARAGON DRIVE, COLVIN GARDENS, FAIRLOP GARDENS, GREENWOOD GARDENS, KATHERINE GARDENS, MOSSFORD LANE, YEOMEN WAY

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to control the speed of vehicles under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge proposes to construct speed humps at the following locations:

    (i) Aragon Drive, outside house Nos. 88/90 or thereabouts;

    (ii) Aragon Drive, outside house Nos. 55/57 or thereabouts;

    (iii) Aragon Drive, outside house Nos. 27/25 or thereabouts;

    (iv) Aragon Drive, outside house Nos. 10/8 or thereabouts;

    (v) Aragon Drive, outside house Nos. 1/3 or thereabouts;

    (vi) Aragon Drive, approximately 19 metres west of the western kerb line of Fencepiece Road;

    (vii) Colvin Gardens, outside house Nos. 61/63 or thereabouts;

    (viii) Colvin Gardens, outside house Nos. 79/81 or thereabouts;

    (ix) Colvin Gardens, outside house Nos. 95/97 or thereabouts;

    (x) Colvin Gardens, outside house Nos. 111/113 or thereabouts;

    (xi) Colvin Gardens, outside house Nos. 117/119 or thereabouts;

    (xii) Colvin Gardens, outside house Nos. 135/137 or thereabouts;

    (xiii) Colvin Gardens, approximately 14 metres east of the eastern kerb line of Colvin Gardens

    (xiv) Fairlop Gardens, outside house No. 25 or thereabouts;

    (xv) Fairlop Gardens, outside house Nos. 5/7 or thereabouts;

    (xvi) Fairlop Gardens, approximately 14 metres west of the western kerb line of Fencepiece Road;

    (xvii) Greenwood Gardens, approximately 17 metres west of the western kerb line of Fencepiece Road;

    (xviii) Greenwood Gardens, outside house Nos. 13/15 or thereabouts;

    (xix) Greenwood Gardens, outside house Nos. 34/36 or thereabouts;

    (xx) Greenwood Gardens, approximately 11 metres east of the eastern kerb line of Colvin Gardens;

    (xxi) Katherine Gardens, outside house Nos. 30/32 or thereabouts;

    (xxii) Katherine Gardens, outside house Nos. 14/16 or thereabouts;

    (xxiii) Katherine Gardens, outside house Nos. 2/4 or thereabouts;

    (xxiv) Mossford Lane, outside house Nos. 5/7 or thereabouts;

    (xxv) Mossford Lane, outside house Nos. 27/25 or thereabouts;

    (xxvi) Mossford Lane, outside house Nos. 33/35 or thereabouts;

    (xxvii) Mossford Lane, outside house Nos. 53/55 or thereabouts;

    (xxviii) Mossford Lane, outside house Nos. 81/83 or thereabouts;

    (xxix) Mossford Lane, outside house Nos. 99/101 or thereabouts;

    (xxx) Mossford Lane, outside house Nos. 103/105 or thereabouts;

    (xxxi) Mossford Lane, outside house Nos. 113/115 or thereabouts;

    (xxxii) Mossford Lane, outside house Nos. 173/175 or thereabouts;

    (xxxiii) Mossford Lane, approximately 17 metres south-west of the south-western kerb line of Tomswood Hill;

    (xxxiv) Yeomen Way, outside house Nos. 1/3 or thereabouts;

    (xxxv) Yeomen Way, outside house Nos. 9/11 or thereabouts;

    (xxxvi) Yeomen Way, approximately 19 metres south of the southern kerb line of Tudor Crescent.

  2. The speed humps (i) to (xxxvi) would be of round top (sinusoidal) design, approximately 80 millimetres at their highest point with an overall length of 3.7 metres. The speed humps would be constructed in accordance with Department for Transport regulations.

  3. A copy of the plans showing the locations of the speed humps may be inspected between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255–259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NY.

  4. Any person wishing to object or make representation to the proposals should send a statement in writing of either their objection or representation and the grounds thereof to the Head of Highways and Transportation Strategy, Lynton House, 2nd Floor Front, 255–259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NY quoting reference 24542-METC-010–14–01-DRG-CE-000 by no later than 18th December 2025.
