Cranbrook Road, Amendment To Bus Lane & No Waiting Restrictions

What is happening?

London Borough Of Redbridge

The Redbridge (Bus Priority) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. ) Order 202

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 6 and 124 of and of Parts IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, propose to make the above-mentioned Order, the effect of which would be in:

  2. Cranbrook Road (IG2),

    (1) the north-west side to introduce a bus lane in which only local buses, taxis and pedal cycles would be permitted, operating Monday to Friday 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm, between Nos. 471 and 511 Cranbrook Road.

    (2) The south-east side, amend the no waiting operational times of the single yellow line outside Valentines High School from 8am-6.30pm to 7am-7pm.

  3. A copy of the Order may be examined along with map-based plans at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Any objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing stating the grounds on which they are made and sent to the council by email to: buses@redbridge.gov.uk

    or by writing to: The Bus Priority Team, 2n? Floor (Front), Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY, within 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
