THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
LOW CATTON ROAD, STAMFORD BRIDGE

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed along part of Low Catton Road,
Stamford Bridge between the junctions of High Catton
Road and Fossway. The reason for the closure is to
enable the proposed carriageway maintenance works,
to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent
with ensuring the safety of the public. It is anticipated
that the works will be completed by
16 December 2025. The alternative route for
traffic affected by the Order is via Church Lane, High
Catton Road and vice versa. The road will be closed
to all through traffic but remain open at all times for
vehicular access to properties directly affected by
the closure and for emergency services. The Order
will commence 15 December 2025 and continue
in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months
or until the works which it is proposed to carry out
have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Further
information can be obtained from Streetscene Services,
Highways Maintenance, tel (01482) 393939. Ref: FK.
