Lea Gate, Bolton - Temporary Road Closure due to Harwood Carol Concert
What is happening?
LEA GATE
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION
(SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994
The Council will make an order, operative from 2pm on 7 December 2025 to enable the Harwood Carol Concert to take place between approximately 2pm and 6.30pm on that date.
The Order will temporarily create a No Left Turn and No Right Turn restriction for all vehicles on Lea Gate at the entrance to Morrisons Car Park. Vehicles exiting the Car Park onto Lea Gate will be unaffected.
Alternative route will be via: Longsight, Longsight Lane, Hough Fold Way.
The order will cease to have effect at 6:30pm 7 December 2025 or on completion of the event, whichever first occurs.
