Mora Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Excavation & Reinstatement Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (as amended)

MORA ROAD (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202*

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate excavation and replacement of non-functioning meter and its connection with ducting to chamber, backfilling and reinstatement and associated works in Mora Road, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to:-

(a) prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Mora Road, the north-western lane proceeding in a north-eastern direction, which lies between the south-western kerb-line of Cricklewood Broadway and a point 5.00 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Hassop Road;

(b) suspend the banned right-hand turn from Cricklewood Broadway into Mora Road,

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions and suspension referred to in (a) and (b) above would apply between 8th December 2025 and 11th December 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Mora Road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
