What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

KILBY ROAD, FLECKNEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 13/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake repairs to defective manhole cover & frame. The proposed diversion route will be via: Leicester Rd, Kilby Rd, Fleckney Rd & vice versa.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 12/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 18 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 12 weeks to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake new footway & kerb installation works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 12/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake redundant pipework removal. The proposed diversion route will be via: Glen Rd, Newton Ln, Station Rd, Kibworth Rd & vice versa.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 12/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 16 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 weeks to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway haunching works. The proposed diversion route will be via: A426, Bill Crane Wy, Lutterworth Rd, Ashby Ln & vice versa.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 12/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 16 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days at each location to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake footway & carriageway repairs.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 21/01/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake manhole cover & frame repair works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Kibworth Rd, Warwick Rd, Wistow Rd, Leicester Rd & vice versa.
