What is happening?

THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN
BRIDLEWAY 165 BLACKBURN
TEMPORARY BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council proposes to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any persons from using the Bridleway referred to in the Schedule below to facilitate construction works for the new housing development adjacent to the Public Right of Way.

The Order becomes effective on 4th December 2025 for a period of six months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

Bridleway 165 Blackburn at SD 70933 27663 at Knuzden Brook marked A in a south westerly direction for approximately 70m to SD 70890 27619 marked B at Staffa Crescent. This is shown with a solid bold line. G. This is shown with a bold solid line.

Also, the section of Bridleway 165 Blackburn at SD 70906 27619 marked C in a Southerly direction for approximately 18m to SD 70904 27601 marked D.
