Ross-on-Wye, Temporary Footpath Closures Due To Falling Stone Hazard

What is happening?

Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

Notice is hereby given that Herefordshire Council made the PUBLIC FOOTPATHS ZK7 & ZK21 [PART] ROSS ON WYE (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 temporarily closing the said footpath from OS Grid Reference SO 5977 2406 to SO 5976 2403 and SO 5975 2404. The closure is required due to stone falling from the church roof. The alternative route is via Church Street. Queries may be directed to prow@herefordshire.gov.uk.

A copy of the order and plan may be seen at www.herefordshire.gov.uk. The Order came into operation on 28 November 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months (unless extended by the Secretary of State) or until any said works have been completed, (whichever is the earlier), or until determined by Herefordshire Council.
