NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Various Locations Within Knutsford/Wilmslow
Notice is Hereby Given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic –

Lacey Green, Wilmslow for the full extent

Chapel Lane, Wilmslow for the full extent

Buckingham Road, Wilmslow for the full extent

Holmes Chapel Road, Chelford for the full extent

Holmes Chapel Road, Toft for the full extent

Earl Road, Handforth for the full extent

Chelford Road, Nether Alderley for the full extent

Chester Road, Plumley for the full extent

Manchester Road, Plumley for the full extent

Chester Road, Tabley Inferior for the full extent

Pickmere Lane, Tabley Superior for the full extent

Pickmere Lane, Pickmere for the full extent

Ashley Road, Millington and Rostherne for the full extent

Macclesfield Road, Twemlow for the full extent

Knutsford Road, Cranage for the full extent

Manor Park North, Knutsford for the full extent

This order is necessary for work for specific diversions.
This order will come into operation on Monday 5th January 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 30th January 2026
