Notice of publication of the ‘Significant Water Management Issues’ consultation document, under regulation 29 (2)(b) (3)(a) and (b) of the Water Environment (Water Framework Directive) (England and Wales) Regulations 2017 and regulation 8 (2)(b) (3)(a)(b) and (c) of the Water Environment (Water Framework Directive) (Solway Tweed River Basin District) Regulations 2004
The Environment Agency has published the Significant Water Management Issues consultation for England for the eight River Basin Districts: Anglian, North West, Northumbria, South East, South West, Thames, Humber and Severn. The ‘Significant Water Management Issues’ consultation is the second in a series of three publications for public consultation, allowing anyone with an interest in the water environment or the River Basin Planning process the opportunity to comment.
The consultation can be found online at https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/significantwater-management-issues-river-basin-management-plans or can be found at our main Area Offices.
The Solway Tweed consultation is due to be published by SEPA and will be available at Scottish Environment Protection Agency – Citizen Space.
This site will also have details of the consultation period.
Any person may make representations to us regarding the Significant Water Management Issues report by completing the online response form on the website above, when it is published.
