Leominster Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Connection Works
What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, Intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U72423, Leominster Road Service Road, Holmer, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72423, Leominster Road Service Road, Holmer, between St Bartholomew access and Home Farm access. Grid Ref: 350569/242411.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal Is via the A49 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to private utility connections works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th of December 2025 and 5th January 2025 and remain In force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days per visit.
