What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C149 FIELDS ROAD (CHEDWORTH PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C149 Fields Road from its junction with the A429 to outside the property known as ‘Gallipot Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 1167 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for Openreach cabling works.

The said road is expected to be closed each day between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs from 1st December 2025 until 4th December 2025 only or until the said works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400907 ROAD FROM ALL SAINTS CHURCH TO CUTHAM LANE (NORTH CERNEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400907 Road from All Saints Church to Cutham Lane from its junction with Cutham Lane to its junction with the A435 for a distance of approximately 874 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for fibre installation works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C156 BURCOMBE LANE, BAGENODN (NORTH CERNEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C156 Burcombe Lane Woodmancote to The Scrub Ditch, Bagenodn from outside the property known as ‘The Scrub Ditch’ to outside the property known as ‘Scrubditch Farm’ for a distance of approximately 236 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for fibre installation works.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 (VARIOUS ROADS AROUND VARIOUS SCHOOLS WITHIN THE CITY OF GLOUCESTER, PARISH OF CAM & TOWN OF CIRENCESTER) (GLOUCESTER DISTRICT, STROUD DISTRICT & COTSWOLD DISTRICT) (VARIATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 of Part I and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the restrictions detailed in The Schedule below on various roads outside Longlevens Junior School, Widden Primary School, Cam Woodfield Junior School and Stratton Primary School, Gloucestershire.

The 2017 Order will be varied by the attachment of plans similar to those used in this consultation and which identify the roads or sides of road to which the prohibitions and restrictions affect.

This Variation shall come into operation on 27th November 2025.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Variation or any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement to that Act or any Statutory Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Variation may within six weeks of the date on which the Variation is made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400903 Road from Hayes Lane to Boleyn House from outside the property known as ‘Burcombe’ to its junction with Hayes Lane for a distance of approximately 213 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for internet installation works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE ST JOHNS STREET (LECHLADE TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of St Johns Street from its junction with Burford Street to its junction with Wharf Lane for a distance of approximately 158 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for CCTV drainage investigation works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 09:30hrs to 15:30hrs on 17th December 2025 only or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401548 Trewsbury Road from outside of the property known as ‘New Dockham’ to outside of the property known as ‘Beaufort House’ for a distance of approximately 118 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for Openreach ducting installation works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs daily from 17th December 2025 to 19th December 2025 or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
