Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Kidlington, Footpath Closures –

Chorefields and Wilsdon Way

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 24/11/2025

Coming into force: 1/12/2025

This Order is being introduced because of low voltage electricity works which are anticipated to complete on 19/12/2025. The effect of the Order is to temporarily close that part of the footpath adjacent to Nos.39-43 Chorefields and the footpath between Wilsdon Way & Chorefields. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative routes will be signed locally. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T16570/RMF)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Hampton Gay and Poyle, Footpath 237/9 – Closure

Date of closure: 19 November 2025

Date of Order: 1/12/2025

Coming into force: 9/12/2025

This Order continues in force a closure by emergency Notice on 19 November 2025 introduced because of an unauthorised waste deposit affecting the right of way. Clearance works are being planned but the anticipated timescale is yet to be agreed. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the section of the Footpath 9 [237/9]. Footpath closed from the Bicester Road, Gosford to the East side of the A34. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to property which is only accessible from the closed section of footpath. There is no alternative off road route. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The order will remain in force for 6 months. (Ref: T17081/RMF)
