Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 490355 Sandford Street from outside the property known as ’35 Sandford Street’ to outside the property known as ’30 Sandford Street’ for a distance of approximately 50 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for drainage works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (PAINSWICK PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of roads as detailed
in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the said closures is for gas mains replacement works.

The said roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing from 1st December 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether they are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. Some roads will be closed overnight and others during the day. This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 15th December 2025, or until the said works have been complete.

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 of Part I and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the restrictions detailed in The Schedule below on various roads outside Longlevens Junior School, Widden Primary School, Cam Woodfield Junior School and Stratton Primary School, Gloucestershire.

The 2017 Order will be varied by the attachment of plans similar to those used in this consultation and which identify the roads or sides of road to which the prohibitions and restrictions affect.
This Variation shall come into operation on 27th November 2025.

The lengths of roads fall within the City of Gloucester, Parish of Cam and Town of Cirencester, within the Gloucester District, Stroud District & Cotswold District in the County of Gloucestershire.

The usual exemptions will apply to Statutory Undertakers and Local Authority vehicles carrying out duties in exercise of their statutory powers, and also in the case of emergency services
vehicles and disabled person’s vehicles.

A copy of the Variation Order, the plans to be revoked, the new Sealed Plans to be inserted into

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Variation or any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement to that Act or any Statutory Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Variation may within six weeks of the date on which the Variation is made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
