PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (3410)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at Newark on Trent in the District of Newark and Sherwood:

1.    Proposed prohibition of Waiting Mon – Fri 11am - 2pm along the following lengths of road:

Handley Court, Newark on Trent  (north-east and south-east side

• From a point 24 metres north-west of its junction with North Gate in a north-westerly then north-easterly direction for 39 metres.

2.    To provide 2 hours parking, No Return within 1 hour. Operating Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm along the following length of road:-

Handley Court, Newark on Trent (north-east side)

•  From a point 12 metres north-west of its junction with North Gate in a north-westerly direction for 12 metres.

Handley Court, Newark on Trent (south-east side)

• From a point 26 metres south-west of its junction with Water Lane in a south-westerly direction for 13 metres.)

The proposals are designed to prevent parking around the bend which is causing issues with visibility.
