Sylwch fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Blaenau Gwent, wrth arfer ei bwerau o dan adrannau 32 (1) a 35 (1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a phob pŵer galluogi arall, ac ar ôl ymgynghori â Phrif Swyddog yr Heddlu, wedi gwneud y gorchymyn uchod ar 27 Tachwedd 2025.

Effaith y gorchymyn fydd rhoi effaith barhaol i’r darpariaethau a gynhwysir yn y gorchymyn arbrofol a gyflwynwyd yn flaenorol isod, a wnaed ar 1 Mehefin 2024 ac sydd wedi bod yn llwyddiannus.

GORCHYMYN RHEOLEIDDIO TRAFFIG (ARBROFOL) STRYD GWLAD YR HAF, ABERTYLERI, 2024

Gweithredu gorchymyn parth cerddwyr arbrofol at ddibenion lletygarwch awyr agored ar y ffordd a nodwyd yn Atodlen 1 i wahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd i mewn i’r ffordd a nodwyd, ac ar ei hyd, rhwng 1 Ebrill a 30 Medi. Daw’r gorchymyn hwn i rym ar 1 Rhagfyr 2025.

Mae’r gorchymyn a map sy’n dangos y ffordd yr effeithir arni ar gael ar wefan Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Blaenau Gwent.

Os ydych chi am gwestiynu dilysrwydd y gorchymyn, neu unrhyw ddarpariaeth sydd ynddo, ar y sail nad yw o fewn y pwerau a roddir gan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, neu ar y sail na chydymffurfiwyd â gofyniad o’r Ddeddf honno neu unrhyw offeryn a wnaed oddi tani mewn perthynas â’r gorchymyn, gallwch, o fewn chwe wythnos o 27 Tachwedd 2025, wneud cais i’r Uchel  Lys at y diben hwn.

ROAD AND TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE OF MAKING A PERMANENT ORDER SOMERSET STREET, ABERTILLERY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

Take notice that the Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council in exercise of their powers under Sections 32 (1) and 35 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police have on 27th November 2025 made the above Order.

The effect of the Order will be to give permanent effect to the provisions contained in the previously introduced Experimental Order below, which was made on 1st June 2024 and which has been successful.

SOMERSET STREET ABERTILLERY (EXPERIMENTAL) TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

To implement an experimental outdoor hospitality pedestrian zone order on the road identified in Schedule 1 to prohibit any vehicle from entering and proceeding along the identified road from 1st April to 30th September. This order shall come into operation on the 1st day of December 2025.

The Order and a map showing the affected road are available on the Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council website.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from 27 November 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
