(VARIATION No. 10) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that SWALE BOROUGH COUNCIL Propose to make the above Order under section 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, having obtained the consent of the Kent County Council in accordance with Section 39(3) of the Act, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act -
The Order will;
Change the use of the Little Oyster Minster on Sea, Halfway Car Park, Park Road and Library Car Park, Queenborough, Grafton Road Car Park, Sittingbourne and Front Brents Car Park, Faversham to a Pay and Display & or Pay by Phone parking facility and introduce parking Charges.

A copy of the proposed Order, any Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Reception Desk, Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3HT between 10.00am and 12.00 noon from Friday 5th December 2026.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to the Parking Services Manager, quoting the name of the Order to Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3HT or to the following e-mail address; ParkingConsultations@Swale.gov.uk by 12 noon on Monday 5th January 2026.
