Tonbridge and Malling, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA

Addington Lane, Trottiscliffe, ME19 5DW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Addington Lane, Trottiscliffe, on or after 11th December 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junction with Woodgate Road and the junction with Ford Lane, between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ford Lane, A20 London Road, Trottiscliffe Road and vice versa.



Morley Road, Tonbridge (TEMPORARY 18T mgw WEIGHT RESTRICTION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily restrict the weight of through traffic on part of Morley Road, Tonbridge, on or after 8th December 2025 for up to 548 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will have an 18T mgw weight restriction imposed on Morley Road Bridge. To the extent indicated by signs on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic over 18T mgw is via Vale Road, Sovereign Way and Morley Road.
