What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(PIKE LAW LANE, SCAPEGOAT HILL, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Pike Law Lane, Scapegoat Hill, from its junction with Pike Law Road for approximately 20 metres northeast along Pike Law Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Pike Law Lane, High Street, Slaithwaite Gate, Pike Law Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 15 December 2025 and remain in force until 17 December 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LOWER QUARRY ROAD, BRADLEY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 5) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed the full length of Lower Quarry Road, Bradley, from its junction with Leeds Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. No diversion required.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday 14 December 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SIMON GREEN ROAD, BOLSTER MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Simon Green Road, Bolster Moor, at a point outside property no. 49 Simon Green Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Simon Green Road, Slades Road, Bolstermoor Road, Drummer Lane, Westwood Edge Road, Simon Green Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 19 December 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BLACKLEY NEW ROAD, AINLEY TOP, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Blackley New Road, Ainley Top at the layby inbound towards Huddersfield PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. No diversion required.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 16 December 2025 20:00 and remain in force until 23 December 2025 05:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BIRKHOUSE LANE, PADDOCK, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Birkhouse Lane, Paddock, from its junction with Manchester Road to approximately 90 metres south of Paddock Foot PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Birkhouse Lane, Paddock Foot, Longroyd Lane, Manchester Road - clockwise only from Paddock Foot.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 18 December 2025 21:00 and remain in force until 19 December 2025 05:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HOLLIN HOUSE LANE, NEW MILL, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hollin House Lane, New Mill, Holmfirth from its junction with Butterley Lane to its junction with Meltham House Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Meltham House Lane, Tenter Hill, Stalley Royd Lane, South View, Sheffield Road, Butterley Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 15 December 2025 and remain in force until 19 December 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(GILES STREET, NETHERTHONG, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Giles Street, Netherthong, Holmfirth from its junction with Miry Lane to its junction with School Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Town Gate, West End, Holmdale Crescent, Denham Drive, Dean Avenue, Miry Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 15 December 2025 and remain in force until 16 December 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(STATION ROAD, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Station Road, Slaithwaite, from its junction with Carr Lane to its junction with Market Place PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Carr Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 16 December 2025 and remain in force until 30 December 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HARTS HOLE ROAD, BOLSTER MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Harts Hole Road, Bolster Moor from its junction with Rochdale Road to a point outside property no.14a Harts Hole Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Rochdale Road, Slaithwaite Gate, Harts Hole Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 19 December 2025 and remain in force until 23 December 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SCHOLES ROAD, JACKSON BRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Scholes Road, Jackson Bridge, from its junction with Hill Street to its junction with Hepworth Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Scholes Road, Park Side, St George’s Road, Paris Road, White Wells Road, Dean Bridge Lane, Butt Lane, Hepworth Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday 18 December 2025 and remain in force for one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WOODLANDS AVENUE, THONGSBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Woodlands Avenue, Thongsbridge from a point outside property no. 8 to a point outside property no. 14 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Woodlands Avenue, Miry Lane, Luke Lane, Woodlands Avenue and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 1 December 2025 and remain in force until 5 December 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(DEAN ROAD/WICKINS LANE, UPPERTHONG, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Holmfirth on a rolling programme as follows:-

Dean Road - from its junction with Wickins Lane for approximately 118 metres in a north-westerly direction

Wickins Lane - from its junction with Back Lane to its junction with Dean Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available as follows:-

Dean Road - via Wickins Lane, Broad Lane, Ash Grove Road, Greenfield Road, Thick Hollins Road, Dean Road and vice versa.

Wickins Lane - via Wickins Lane, Wolfstones Road, Bradshaw Road, Thick Hollins Road, Dean Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 1 December 2025 and remain in force until 12 December 2025 on a rolling programme (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WOODBOTTOM ROAD, NETHERTON, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Woodbottom from its junction with Lea Lane to a point outside property no. 14 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Lea Lane, Netherton Fold, Moor Lane, Meltham Road, Church Lane, Huddersfield Road, Crosland Factory Lane, Woodbottom Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday, 4 December 2025 and remain in force until 19 December 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BARNSLEY ROAD, FLOCKTON, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Barnsley Road, Flockton from a point outside property no. 263 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Barnsley Road, Bar Lane, Denby Dale Road, Ings Road, Westgate End, Horbury Road, Northfield Lane, Southfield Lane, Bridge Road, New Road, Wakefield Road, Barnsley Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 2 December 2025 and remain in force until 4 December 2025 (between 20:00 - 05:00 hours each day) (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
