A272 Winchester Road, Langrish, East Hampshire - Temporary Road Closure due to pole replacement and tree cutting
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A272 Winchester Road between its junction with East Meon Road and a point approximately 550 Metres East of said junction.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A272, A3, A325, A31, A32, A272
DURATION OF ORDER: from 17th December 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals to carry out pole replacement and tree cutting. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk Sunbelt Rentals will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
