Chudleigh Road, Exeter - Traffic Regulation & Speed Limit Order Proposals

Devon County Council propose to make these under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for Exminster & Exeter: Devon County Council (Chudleigh Road, Exeter) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order to introduce Prohibition of Motor Vehicles on Chudleigh Road from the A379 to 30 metres northwest of that junction; Devon County Council (Chudleigh Road, Exeter) (30mph Speed Limit and Restricted Road) Order to introduce 30mph on Chudleigh Road from 22 metres northwest of Markham Lane to 281 metres northwest of the A379; 30mph by virtue of streetlighting (Restricted Road) on Chudleigh Road from the A379 to 281 metres northwest of that junction & the entire length of Chudleigh Road Eastern Link Road; for ease of reference existing restrictions are in the draft orders above; Devon County Council (Chudleigh Road, Exeter) (Prohibition of Heavy Goods Vehicles) Order to introduce Prohibition of Heavy Goods Vehicles on Chudleigh Road Eastern Spur from the A379 northwest for 5 metres; Devon County Council (Chudleigh Road, Exeter) (No Waiting At Any Time) Amendment Order to introduce No Waiting At Any Time on both sides of the entire length of Chudleigh Road Eastern Spur. Where appropriate there will be the usual exemptions including those in relation to picking up/setting down passengers, loading/ unloading goods & disabled persons vehicles.
