Barnoldby Le Beck Public Footpath 77 and Brigsley Public Footpath 77 - Temporary Footpath Closure
What is happening?
THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE (BARNOLDBY LE BECK PUBLIC FOOTPATH 77 AND BRIGSLEY PUBLIC FOOTPATH 77) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intend to make not less than seven days from the date of this Notice an Order, provisions of Section 14 (2) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following Public Footpaths:
Public Footpath 77 at Barnoldby le Beck from the highway known as Main Road, Barnoldby le Beck at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TA523552, 403185 to Grid Reference TA524660, 402440 at the Parish boundary with Brigsley.
Public Footpath 77 at Brigsley from the Parish boundary of Barnoldby le Beck at Ordnance Survey Reference TA524660, 402440 to Main Road, Brigsley at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TA525159, 401876.
The closure will commence at 07.00hrs on Monday 8th December 2025.
This temporary closure is required to avoid danger to persons using the Public Footpaths whilst works are carried out upon it.
The Order will come into operation on the 8th December 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier).
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however should weather or any other conditions delay the works the works will go ahead when it is safe to do so. The path will be reopened to pedestrians as soon as possible. It is anticipated the works will take fourteen (14) days.
