A1305 Riverside - Traffic Regulation Order
What is happening?
THE BOROUGH OF STOCKTON ON TEES
A1305 RIVERSIDE, STOCKTON TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above Order on 1st December 2025 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The Order, which will come into effect on 12th December 2025, will have the effect of introducing new restrictions along the lengths of A1305 Riverside namely, new no waiting at any time restrictions, new no loading restrictions, new 2 hours limited waiting between the hours of 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Saturday and new no waiting restrictions except Hackney Carriages between 18:00 and 04:00.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the 1st December 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
