A1305 RIVERSIDE, STOCKTON TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (AMENDMENT NO1) 2025
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 not less than seven days from the date hereof, the Highway Authority being satisfied that the restrictions are required because works are being or are proposed to be carried out on or near the roads.
The effect of the Order, which will come into effect on 12th December 2025, will be to re-open the A1305 Riverside southbound between Quayside Road and Tower Street and introduce a temporary right turn prohibition from A1305 Riverside southbound onto Tower Street at such times as traffic management signs may be erected to notify highway users of the restrictions. It is expected that the restrictions will be required from approximately 12th December 2025 to Summer 2026. The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. Access for pedestrians and emergency services will not be maintained, and bus services will be affected.
