Dalrymple Court - Prohibition Any Vehicular Traffic To Works
What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(DALRYMPLE COURT) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicular traffic to proceed on Dalrymple Court, from its junction with Gallowgate for its entire length.
2. There is no alternative route for traffic.
3. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles engaged in the said works.
5. The Order will come into operation on 7 January 2026 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 7 July 2027 or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
