HYSBYSIR trwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Gaerfyrddin yn bwriadu, heb fod yn llai na saith niwrnod wedi dyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd Heol yr Undeb, Rhydaman, o’r gyffordd â Stryd Fawr, am bellter o 107 metr i gyfeiriad y gogledd-orllewin.

Lle bo’n bosibl caniateir i gerddwyr ac i gerbydau gael mynediad i eiddo unigol drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau.

Y Ffordd Arall ar gyfer traffig sydd am deithio tua’r gogledd-orllewin, o fan sydd i’r de-ddwyrain o’r man lle mae’r ffordd ar gau, fydded parhau i gyfeiriad y gogledd-ddwyrain ar hyd Stryd Fawr, hyd at y gyffordd â Theras Maes y Deri. Troi i’r chwith wrth y gyffordd a pharhau i gyfeiriad gogledd-orllewin ar hyd Teras Maes y Deri, hyd at y gyffordd â Ffordd Walter. Troi i’r chwith wrth y gyffordd a pharhau i gyfeiriad y de-orllewin ar hyd Ffordd Walter i ddychwelyd i fan sydd i’r gogledd-orllewin o’r man lle mae’r ffordd ar gau. I’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r de-ddwyrain.

Bydd y Gorchymyn arfaethedig yn parhau mewn grym wrth i waith gael ei wneud ar ran Wales & West Utilities i adnewyddu prif bibell nwy.

Bwriedir i’r gwaith ddechrau ddydd Gwener 12 Rhagfyr 2025 tan ddydd Gwener 2 Ionawr 2026.

Lle bo hynny’n briodol gall Gorchmynion Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd dros dro barhau mewn grym am hyd at ddeunaw mis.

The County of Carmarthenshire

(Union Street, Ammanford) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Union Street, Ammanford, from its junction with High Street, for a distance of 107 metres in a north westerly direction.

Pedestrian and vehicular access to individual properties will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.

The Alternative Route for north west bound traffic, from a point south east of the closure, will be to proceed in a north easterly direction along High Street to its junction with Oakfield Terrace. At the junction turn left and proceed in a north westerly direction along Oakfield Terrace, to its junction with Walter Road. At the junction, turn left and continue in a south westerly direction along Walter Road to return to a point north west of the closure. Vice versa for south east bound traffic.

The proposed Order will continue in force whilst works are carried out on behalf of Wales & West Utilities to replace gas mains.

It is intended that the works commence on Friday 12th December 2025 to Friday 2nd January 2026.

Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
