TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401327 THRUPP LANE (BRIMSCOMBE & THRUPP PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401327 Thrupp Lane from outside the property known as ‘Number 25’ to outside the property known as ‘Corinium’ for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for ground investigation works.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road will be maintained. TEMPORARY CLOSURE 405874 JUBILEE ROAD (NAILSWORTH TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405874 Jubilee Road from its junction with Star Hill to its junction with Nympsfield Road for a distance of approximately 95 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The reason for the said closure is for fibre works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 601183 FOOTWAY FROM RESERVOIR CLOSE TO BISLEY OLD ROAD

(STROUD TOWN AND PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 601183 Footway from its junction with Reservoir Close to its junction with Bisley Old Road for a distance of approximately 85 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for fibre installation works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH MCH 11 (CHALFORD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council Has Made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Footpaths as described in the schedule below:

Schedule

Part of Public Footpath MCH 11 in the Parish of Chalford is to be closed temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) from its junction with Sibree Close and then extends in a generally southerly direction for approximately 30 metres to its junction with footway adjoining northside of 17 Sibree Close (Class 6).

The footpath falls within the Parish of Chalford in the Stroud District in the county of Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst fibre installation and connection works are completed.

The Order will come into force at 09:30hrs on 2nd December 2025 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpaths will close on that day until 15:30hrs on 4th December 2025. However, this Order can authorise the closure for up to six months.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 407637 DUDBRIDGE HILL (STROUD TOWN AND PARISH), STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407637 Dudbridge Hill from adjacent to the side of No. 20 Dudbridge Hill to adjacent to the rear of No. 20 Dudbridge Hill for a distance of approximately 58 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works to locate and clear blockages in carriageway.

The said road is expected to be closed from 6th December 2025 to 7th December 2025 or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C225 ROAD FROM ARLINGHAM TO THE REDDINGS LODGE (ARLINGHAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C225 Road from Arlingham to the Reddings Lodge from outside of the property known as ‘Cothilll Cottage’ to outside of the property known as ‘Milton End’ for a distance of approximately 840 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pole testing works.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 10:00am and 14:00pm on 1st December 2025 only. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The said road is expected to be closed from 16th December 2025 to 19th December 2025 or until the works have been completed. GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (A4135) (VARIOUS PARISHES) (STROUD DISTRICT & COTSWOLD DISTRICT) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made the above-named Order the effect of which will be:

1. To introduce the 50mph speed limit as described in the schedule below; and

2. To revoke the existing 50mph speed limit Traffic Order on the A4135 at Kingscote and replace it with this Traffic Order in order to consolidate the speed limits on the A4135 into one Traffic Order. Please note there will be no changes to the existing signed 50mph speed limit on-street at Kingscote as part of this Traffic Order process.

Road Name & Number Description
A4135 (known in part as Whiteway Hill & in part as A4135 Whiteway Hill to Kingscote Park & in part as A4135 Kingscote Park to Calcot Crossroads). From a point approximately 111m south-east of the centreline of its junction with Byron Road (43566) to a point approximately 53m south-east of the centreline of its junction with the C262 (known as 2/262 B4058 to A46 Lasborough).

The lengths of roads fall within the Town of Dursley and the Parishes of North Nibley, Uley, Wotton-Under-Edge and Owlpen in the Stroud District and the Parish of Kingscote within the Cotswold District, all within the County of Gloucestershire.

The Order shall come into effect on 5th December 2025.

A copy of the Sealed Order and Order to be revoked together with a copy of the Statement of Reasons may be viewed at The Map Room, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TG and Dursley Library, May Lane, Dursley, GL11 4JH during their normal opening hours or online at www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/tros for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this notice.
