Eashing Lane (D94) Milford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 21 November 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Eashing Lane (D94) Milford as extends from its junction with Portsmouth Road (A3100) to the southern boundary of the property known as “1 Eashing Lane”.
Alternative route – A3100 (Portsmouth Road), A283 (Guildford Road) and Eashing Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate a pipe repair and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 December 2025 for 3 days between the hours of 8.00pm and 5.00am.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, buses, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Kingston Road (C248) Ashford and Staines-Upon-Thames
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 21 November 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Kingston Road (C248) Ashford and Staines-Upon-Thames as extends from its junction with Kingston Road (B377) to its junction with Petersfield Avenue (D3276).
Alternative route – Kingston Road, A308 (London Road), A30 (Staines By-Pass), A308 (Staines By-Pass) and B377 (Kingston Road), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable The Council to facilitate construction of four pedestrian refuge islands and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 December 2025 for 5 weeks.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
Keens Lane (D54) Guildford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 21 November 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Keens Lane (D54) Guildford as extends from its junction with Deacon Way (X7305) to the access for the properties known as numbers 9 to 23 Keens Lane.
Alternative route – Keens Lane, Tangley Lane and A322 (Worplesdon Road), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Buko Traffic and Safety to facilitate the installation of underground service cables and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 8 December 2025 for 1 week between the hours of 8.00am and 11.59pm.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Seale Road (C21) Elstead
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 26 November 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Seale Road (C21) Elstead as extends from its junction with (B3001) Farnham Road to its junction with the access to the property known as “Turners Farm”.
Alternative Route: Seale Road, Littleworth Road, Suffield Lane, Fulbrook Lane, and (B3001) Farnham Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN.
These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 December 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
Chiddingfold Road (C34) Dunsfold
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Chiddingfold Road (C34) Dunsfold as extends from the eastern boundary of the property known as “Wintershall” to the western boundary of the property known as “Ashdown”.
Alternative route – Chiddingfold Road, High Street Green, Pickhurst Road, The Green, A283 (Petworth Road, Cripplecrutch Hill and London Road), A272 (Horsham Road, Petworth Road, Billingshurst Road and Newbridge Road), A29 (Stane Street), A281 (Guildford Road and Horsham Road), B2130 (Dunsfold Road), Dunsfold Common Road and Wrotham Hill, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate repairs and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 16 January 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 7.00am and 23.59pm.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Lodkin Hill (D199) and Thorncombe Street (D199) Hascombe
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Lodkin Hill (D199) and Thorncombe Street (D199) Hascombe as extends from the access for the property known as “Lodkin Cottage” to the Thorncombe Street access for Winkworth Arboretum.
Alternative route – Thorncombe Street, Alldens Hill, Alldens Lane, Munstead Heath Road and B2130 (Hascombe Road), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable M Group Telecoms to facilitate pole replacement and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 January 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the roads as described in the schedule to this notice.
This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas main replacement and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 5 January 2026 for 11 months in 5 phases between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, which are anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of The Street (C119) Tongham as extends from its junction with (D4002) Grange Road to its junction with (X119) New Road.

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 08 December 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
D5428 Summerhouse Road, Godalming
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D5428 Summerhouse Road, Godalming which extends from the western property boundary line of “Carlyon House” north-eastwards to the eastern property boundary line of “Normanhurst”.
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate capital safety defect works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 15 December 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
Alternative Route – D5428 Summerhouse Road, D5405 Busbridge Lane and D5428 Summerhouse Road.
D646 Effingham Common Road, Effingham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 26 November 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D646 Effingham Common Road Effingham (the service road fronting the properties known as “Brookfield” to “Phoenix Cottage”).
This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway surfacing works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 December 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.
