What is happening?
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE –
JACKLYNS LANE/ LIME ROAD, NEW ALRESFORD, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED:
Footpath between its junction with Jacklyns Lane and its junction with Lime Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Jacklyns Lane, Hawthorn Close, Oak Hill, Lime Road.
DURATION OF ORDER:
From Monday 8th December 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 11 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
