TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South West) (No.19) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of a length of unnamed highway as leads off Weston Road at Long Ashton in the District of North Somerset. This is to enable development as permitted by North Somerset District Council under reference 23/P/0365/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk

(quoting SUO4346108). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Long Ashton Village Shop & Post Office, 29 Weston Road, Long Ashton, BS41 9AA.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 26 November 2025.
