Hysbysir drwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu, mewn nid llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, wneud Gorchymyn a fydd â’r effaith o wahardd cerbydau rhag mynd ar hyd:

• Kings Avenue o’r gyffordd â B4257 Church Street am bellter o tua 17 metr a
• Lôn ddienw rhwng y cyffyrdd â Price Street a King Edward Terrace am bellter o tua 15 metr.

Disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn arfaethedig gychwyn ar 8 Rhagfyr 2025 am gyfnod nid yn fwy na deunaw mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau erbyn 21 Rhagfyr 2025.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys, preswylwyr a cherddwyr lle bo modd.

Bydd arwyddion y gwyriad yn dangos Ilwybrau amgen.

Y rheswm dros wneud y Gorchymyn yw caniatáu allosod prif biben nwy.

Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along 

• Kings Avenue from its junction with B4257 Church Street for a distance of approx. 17 metres and
• Unnamed lane between its junctions with Price Street and King Edward Terrace for a distance of 15 metres.

The proposed Order is expected to commence on 8 December 2025 for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated the works will be complete by 21 December 2025.

Access for emergency service vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be maintained where possible.

Alternative routes are via signed diversion routes.

The reason for making the Order is to allow for gas mains replacement.

The order is required by Wales & West Utilities.
