DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.
Mae angen cau'r ffordd er mwyn cynnal gwaith i dynnu’r llystyfiant o amgylch pont y rheilffordd.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau Heol Cyrch-y-gwas i Stryd y Bont, Trefforest – o ochr ddwyreiniol y bont i bwynt tua 42 metr i’r gorllewin.

Tua'r dwyrain o'r ffordd sydd ar gau - Stryd y Parc, Stryd Fothergill, y B4595, yr A4058, Heol Sardis, Lôn y Ffatri, Ffordd Llantrisant, Stryd Fawr. Stryd yr Undeb, Stryd Rickards, Teras Mitchells, Heol y Coed.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The closure is necessary to facilitate works for the removal of vegetation around the railway bridge.
Temporary Road Closure:
The effect of the Order will be to close Cyrch-y-Glas Road to Bridge Street, Treforest – from the eastern side of the bridge to a point approximately 42 metres west.
Alternative Routes:
Heading East of the Closure – Park Street, Fothergill Street, B4595, A4058, Sardis Road, Factory Lane, Llantrisant Road, High Street, Union Street, Rickards Street, Mitchells Terrace, Wood Road.
Heading West of the Closure – Wood Road, Mitchells Terrace, Rickards Terrace, Union Street, High Street, Llantrisant Road, Factory Lane, Sardis Road, Sardis Road Gyratory, A4058, B4595, River Street, Park Street.
Access will be maintained to premises.
Access WILL NOT be maintained for emergency services or pedestrians.
The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -
• Overnight closure between 21:00 29th November – 08:00 30th November 2025
