Hillview Drive, Temporary Road Closure Due To Junction Works

(Hillview Drive, Clarkston) Temporary Restriction To Use Of Road Order 2025
On the 19th November 2025 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Order authorises to restrict vehicular access on a section of Hillview Drive (from its junction with Busby Road westwards for a distance of approximately 40M or thereby), Clarkston, in order to facilitate the safe operation of junction improvement works. Scheduled to be carried from Monday 1st December to Wednesday 10th December 2025.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time.
Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Diversion routes: Hillview Drive - Mearns Road - Benview Road - Busby Road and Busby Road -Mearns Road -Hillview Drive.
