Suffolk, Temporary Road Closures For Utility Connection Works

What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1430 WINGFIELD STREET, BUNGAY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1430 Wingfield Street, Bungay from 30 metres north of the junction with the A144 for 60 metres northbound to facilitate a new electrical connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A144, the B1062, the B1435 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/11/2025 - 28/11/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A134 WALDINGFIELD ROAD, SUDBURY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A134 Waldingfield Road, Sudbury from Northern Road to Church Field Road to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A134, the A1141 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 8pm on 04/12/2025 - 5am on 05/12/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
