What is happening?
REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
VARIOUS FOOTPATHS WITHIN ORMESBY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the length of footways in Ormesby specified in the schedule below.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along the footways specified in the schedule below. Alternative pedestrian access will be available at all times which will be indicated by signposting.
The Order will come into operation on 1.12.25 and remain in operation for 18 months, but it is envisaged that the works should be completed within 13 weeks.
SCHEDULE
From 1.12.25:- Allendale Road – From number 2 to number 22 Allendale Road, Gaisgill Close – From number 2 to number 14 Gaisgill Close, Dalston Court – From number 1 to number 17 Dalston Court, Mitford Close – From number 1 to number 21 and from number 2 to number 6 Mitford Close
From 5.1.26:- Ainstable Road – Between number 45 and number 47 Ainstable Road, Chathill Walk – From number 2 to number 49 Chathill Walk, Bamburgh Drive – From number 8 to number 14 and from number 5 to number 11 and from number 23 to number 33 Bamburgh Drive.
From 16.2.26 Daisy Lane – Footpath to the school, Rosewood Close – Side of number 27 Rosewood Close.
