Overton Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works

Temporary Road Closure - Overton Road, North Waltham, Basingstoke

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Overton Road between the property known as Manor Farm Barn and a point approx. 220m west from that property.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ashe Park Lane, Stubbs Hill, Steventon Road.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 25th November 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 08:00-18:00).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Circet to carry out pole replacement works.
