THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(HIGHFIELDS ROAD/AMBERGATE ISLAND)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have made Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on all approaches to Highfields Road/Ambergate Road Island.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 1 December 2025 until 10 December 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Ladymoor Road, Anchor Road, Biddings Lane, Birmingham New Road, Mason Street, Green Street, Tunnel Street, Fullwoods End, Gough Road, Yew Tree Lane, Harding Street, Daisy Street, Ash Street, Highfields Road, Salop Street, Loxdale Street, Oxford Street, Black County Route, Coseley Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing by City of Wolverhampton Council.
