What is happening?

(40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, proposes to make an Order to introduce a 40 miles per hour speed limit along those lengths of roads described in the Schedule below.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour on the roads specified in the Schedule below.
A copy of the proposed Order, a map showing the exact lengths of roads to which it relates and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be:

MAKING REPRESENTATIONS OR OBJECTIONS Any person wishing to object to, support, or make representations regarding the proposed Order must do so in writing, stating the grounds on which they are made, to: Traffic Orders Section, Kier Highways, Highways Depot, Old Harborough Road, Brixworth, NN6 9BX or by email to: NNCParkingenquiries@kier.co.uk
All representations must be received no later than 18th December 2025.

A distance of 45 metres north-westwards and 45 metres south-eastwards from its junction with the A14 Junction 7 circulatory. |
