What is happening?

NORTON SUBCOURSE – C516 Low Road from its junction with C385 Loddon Road for 150m northwards to facilitate fault repairs from 24th to 28th November 2025 (may continue until 9th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Ferry Road, Nogdam End, Ferry Lane, Norton Road, Loddon Road (Norton Subcourse, Heckingham). The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

ROUGHAM – C67 Castle Acre Road from its junction with B1145 Lynn Road to its junction with C68 Wilcot Road to facilitate carriageway frame and cover replacements works from 24th to 26th November 2025 (may continue until 7th January 2026). Alternative route is via: B1145 Lynn Road/Litcham Road, C66 Castle Acre Road/Peddars Way, C68 Walton Road and vice versa (Great Massingham, Rougham, Castle Acre). The works promoter is BT.

TASBURGH – T7138 Matthews Close to Riches Close from its joining with U71192 Riches Close for 35m southwards to facilitate stop tap replacement works from 24th to 26th November 2025 (may continue until 7th January 2026). Alternative route is via: A signed diversion route will be in place using the footways of Riches Close, Henry Preston Road, Lammas Road, Matthews Close. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

TASBURGH – U76001 Low Road from 437m south of its junction with U76002 Tasburgh Hill for 75m southwards to facilitate water supply connection works from 25th to 27th November 2025 (may continue until 8th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Low Road, Grove Lane, Church Road, A140 Ipswich Road, Bungay Road, Low Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

THETFORD – 1) U30420/18 St Giles Lane from 25m west of its junction with Earls Street for 25m westwards and 2) U30420/18 St Giles Lane from its junction with Earls Street for 84m westwards and 3) U30420/22 St Giles Street from its junction with Earls Street for 110m westwards to facilitate overlay duct works, the Road 1 will be temporarily closed and Road 2 shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (eastbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an easterly and westerly direction and Road 3 shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (westbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both a westerly and easterly direction from 24th to 26th November 2025 (may continue until 7th January 2026). Alternative route is via: U30420/22 St Giles Street, U30433 Earls Street. The works promoter is BT.

WORTWELL – U76153 Tunbeck Road from its junction with A143 Bungay Road for 160m northwards to facilitate new electrical connection works from 25th November 2025 to 1st December 2025 (may continue until 14th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Station Road, A143 Bungay Road, Tunbeck Road. The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

WYMONDHAM – U78023 Suton Lane from its junction with Mile Road for 55m northwards to facilitate new electricity connection works from 25th November 2025 to 1st December 2025 (may continue until 14th January 2026). The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

GAYTON – C64/40 Winch Road from its junction with B1145 Lynn Road to its junction with U22060/10 Back Street to facilitate HRA patching works from 24th to 26th November 2025 (may continue until 7th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Winch Road, Common Lane, Gayton Road, Lynn Road, A47 From B1153 to A10/A149, Walton Road, East Winch Road, East Walton Road (Gayton, East Winch, East Walton). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

GAYTON – ZF3174/10 Charles Road Footpath from its junction with U32271 Charles Road for 30m southwards to facilitate meter exchange works between 08:00 and 16:00 on 24th November 2025 (may continue until 5th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Charles Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

KING’S LYNN – U20203 Burkitt Street from its junction with C883 Loke Road for 80m north-eastwards to facilitate footway reconstruction works from 24th to 26th November 2025 (may continue until 7th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Walker Street, Cresswell Street, Loke Road. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

OUTWELL – C17 Hall Road from 270m south of its junction with C16 Marsh Road for 50m southwards to facilitate new pipeline project works from 27th November to 1st December 2025 (may continue until 12th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Hall Road, Marsh Road, Stow Road, Langhorns Lane, Downham Road, Wisbech Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

OUTWELL – C16 Marsh Road from 170m north of its junction with C5 Stow Road for 175m northwards to facilitate SPA pipeline works from 24th November to 5th December 2025 (may continue until 16th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Marsh Road, Stow Road, Langhorns Lane, Downham Road, Wisbech Road, Hall Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

TILNEY ST. LAWRENCE – C12 Chapel Road from 20m south of its junction with Smeeth Road for 25m southwards to facilitate parapet repair works from 24th to 28th November 2025 (may continue until 9th January 2026). Alternative route is via: Low Road, Smeeth Road, School Road, Middle Drove, Black Drove, Chapel Road (Marshland St. James, Tilney St. Lawrence). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

WELNEY – B1100 March Road from its junction with New Road for 170m northwards to facilitate carriageway works from 24th November to 5th December 2025 (may continue until 16th January 2026). Alternative route is via: B1100 March Road, Lynn Road, New Road, Sandgate Corner, Wisbech Road, Lynn Road, Main Road, Ha Penny Toll Road, March Road (Christchurch, Welney, Upwell). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle paths, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
