THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (MANSFIELD ROAD, NEWTONGRANGE)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025                                                                                                                    TTRO/R 5.4.301

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate a service burst repair by Scottish Water Mansfield Road, at the gable of Nos. 35 and 36, will be closed. The Order has effect on 3 December 2025 and shall remain in force up to and including 10 December 2025. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be clearly signposted.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (CAERKETTON AVENUE, BILSTON)
(TEMPORARY PARKING SUSPENSION WITH WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS)

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period there will be a parking suspension with waiting, loading and unloading restrictions on the Northern kerbline of Caerketton Avenue, Bilston up to the parking area to the end of the Caerketton Avenue.

The said parking area shall also be subject to the parking suspension and waiting, loading and unloading restrictions. The suspension and restrictions are necessary to facilitate Scottish Water infrastructure upgrade works and to maintain an unobstructed carriageway for general traffi c during said work.

The Order has effect on 8 December 2025 and shall remain in force up to and including 7 December 2026. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (BILSTON BURN, BILSTON)
(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE)

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate Scottish Water infrastructure upgrade works, the footpath off the A701 through to Castlelaw Crescent and Caerketton Avenue will be closed. The Order has effect on 8 December 2025 and shall remain in force up to and including 7 December 2026. The alternative route for pedestrian access will be via Castlelaw Crescent, Allermuir Avenue, Moorfoot View, A701 and vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PARKING SUSPENSION WITH WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS)

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period there will be a parking suspension with waiting, loading and unloading restrictions on both kerblines of Myrtle Crescent, Bilston from the crossroads with Meadow Place to the junction with Eskgrove Drive, excluding the parking bays outside properties Number 17 to Number 38 Myrtle Crescent, for a distance of 180 metres or thereby. The suspension and restrictions are necessary to facilitate Scottish Water infrastructure upgrade works and to maintain an unobstructed carriageway for general traffi c during said work.

The Order has effect on 8 December 2025 and shall remain in force up to and including 7 December 2026. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (NEWTON CHURCH ROAD, DANDERHALL)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to allow Advance Construction to undertake utility works for the new Miller development, Newton Church Road will be closed from its junction with A6106 Millerhill Road, towards Danderhall, for a distance of 200 metres or thereby. The Order has effect on 1 December 2025 and shall remain in force up to and including 14 December 2025. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffi c will be clearly sign posted.
