(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st December 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Lostwithiel. This prohibition is necessary for cabling and gully sucking works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th December 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Roads affected - Castle Hill from junction with Old Orchard to junction with Hillside Gardens, Carbes Lane for its entire length, Lostwithiel An alternative route will be signed on site. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 1st December 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Antony. This prohibition is necessary for fire hydrant installation works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th December 2025 to 17th December 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. This prohibition is necessary for overhead fibre cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th December 2025, for one day. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th December 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Pillaton. This prohibition is necessary for new fibre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd January 2026 to 6th January 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 2nd December 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath WCA 547 in the Parish of Calstock between property known as Lower Brookland Farm and the Access to Newton Farm. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the danger to the public due to an unsafe retaining wall. The Order will come into operation on 3rd December 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 11th May 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 12th November 2025 or a period of up to 21 days. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
