Buckinghamshire, Multiple Temporary Road Closures Due To Various Works
What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
(Hogfair Ln, Burnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hogfair Ln for approx. 596M.
Alternative route: Britwell Rd, Gore Rd, Lent Rise Rd, Lent Green, Stomp Rd, Priory Rd and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst footway micro works commence on 28th January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28th January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Various Rds, Wycombe, Chiltern and South Bucks) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in the below rds. Longbottom Ln, Beaconsfield: Grove Rd, Beaconsfield: Knights Templar Way, High Wycombe: Manor Gardens, High Wycombe: Partridge Way, High Wycombe: Berwick Rd, Marlow: Lincoln Park, Amersham.
PLEASE NOTE: The full duration of this multi-order is to allow coordination of a number of works, and flexibility given their weather dependant nature. The actual times that each rd will be closed for will be much less than this and could be either day or night works only.
The full details will be publicised on One.Network when confirmed, with signs on the affected rd erected two weeks before the closure.
The closure is required whilst Micro Surfacing Prep works commence on 6th January 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6th January 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Amersham Hill Gardens, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order, 2025,
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from waiting in Amersham Hill Gardens, which continues for approx. 77M.
The restriction is required to ensure the Thames Water works take place commencing on 8th December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8th December 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
(Burtons Ln, Little Chalfont) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Burtons Ln for approx. 190M.
Alternative route: Burtons Ln, Blacketts Wood Dr, Whitelands Avenue, Main Parade, Shire Ln, Green Street, Amersham Rd, Chalfont Station Rd and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst pole replacement commences on 12th December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12th December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Sixty Acre Rd, Great Missenden) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Sixty Acre Rd, Great Missenden for approx. 39M.
Alternative route: Wycombe Rd, Hildreth Rd and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst remedial works commences on 3rd December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3rd December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Village Road, Denham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Village Road for approx. 147M.
Alternative route: Village Road, Denham Avenue, Oxford Road, Old Mill Road and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst ducting works, build chambers and cabinets commence on 6th December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6th December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(East Burnham Lane, Burnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in East Burnham Lane for approx. 30M.
Alternative route: Thompkins Lane, Crown Lane, East Burnham Lane and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst a service pipe repair commence on 3rd December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3rd December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Rose Hill, Burnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Rose Hill for approx. 476M.
Alternative route: Nashdom Lane, Taplow Common Road and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst CityFibre works commence on 1st December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1st December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Lodge Lane, Little Chalfont) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Lodge Lane for approx. 831M.
Alternative route: Amersham Road, Chalfont Station Road, Burtons Lane, Lodge Lane and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst access for AB LOADS and crane commence on 19th December 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19th December 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 35/1, Parish of Iver) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 35/1 from the junction of Ford Street travelling north to the junction of IVE FP 35/1, IVE FP 28/3 & IVE FP 28/4.
The alternative route is via: Ford Lane and IVE FP 28/1 & 28/4.
The closure is required in the interest of public safety due to a failed bridge. The Order will come into operation on 7th November 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
