Watery Lane, Proposed Prohibition Of Vehicles Order
What is happening?
THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (GRIMSTON, U22118/20 WATERY LANE) (PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025
Norfolk County Council propose to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicles whether motorised or otherwise, except for cycles and riders on horseback, to enter or proceed along the U22118/20 Watery Lane between a point 23 metres southwest of its junction with Candlestick Lane and its junction with Grimston Footpath 16 (2R0422/10), for a distance of 675 metres.
A copy of the draft Order, a plan, and Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be viewed online at https://norfolk.citizenspace.com/. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Council, King’s Court, Chapel St, King’s Lynn PE30 1EX, United Kingdom. However, viewing online would be recommended.
Any objections and representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office of nplaw, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of J Hulse by 16th December 2025.
